The nice counter man at Govinda's Gourmet To-Go just informed me the pepper steak is NOT VEGAN. They recently learned there is some form of caseinate in the mock pepper steak.

Freaking gross.

So, is this really happening now? I guess I've been looking for it at Gourmet to Go, but didn't think to check the other side!

the cheesecakes at govindas get better every time. i'm eating leftovers from last night of the lime coconut and i had a slice of this mystery one that seemed like a chocolate swirl. it was amazing. i haven't seen that one before though.

Hi everyone. Just wanted to let you know that thanks in part to the recommendation of SuperCarrot, I am now selling my vegan cakes at Govinda's. My cakes are moist, moist, moist and delicious! They are currently carrying my carrot cake, chocolate cake and various cheesecakes. This week they are selling my apple pie cheesecake. Thanks!!
