Last night I watched both the new episode of Lost and a leaked copy of the series finale of The Wire. I was generally underwhelmed with both, though they had their moments. I know I usually post about Lost, but I don't think anything so monumental happened that I really have much to talk about.

Lost spoilers only...no Wire spoilers until after Sunday )

how goofy was he with the ham and the sheets and everything? Half super-villain, half goober.)

Yes. Ben's seduction-skills are depressingly disappointing for a Super!Villain. He was extra creepy in this episode. He really does think like a child ("you're mine! the island is mine! mine mine mine! if you don't play with me, I won't be your friend anymore AND I'll arrange your death!") and that's pretty terrifying since he's uber-evil and very smart. honestly, the biggest surprise to me in this ep was that Ben has an interest in sports.

I was glad the whispers were back. It's my theory that the whispers are other people on the island in concurrent but separate time periods. what do you think? the explaining of the whispers and the four-toed-statue are things I'm really looking forward too.

As the Lost blog on TMZ pointed out, last night's ep did have some great lines. I love how casual Ben was with his "See you at dinner!" when he was carrying those linens to his house.

TV Guide has a cute bit online with the cast asking Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof questions that they want answered. I think my favorite part of the piece is when Josh Holloway complains about Sawyer's hair and "can [Hurley] cut my hair?" Personally, I hope they do that scene. :)

I liked when Kate cut his hair a couple of seasons ago -- that was a really nice scene.
