Limited Checkouts on Library eBooks aka I have feelings

There's a petition on change.org that isn't about human or animal rights. Which means it might seem a little frivolous to some, but it's kind of not. See, I have books that have been read more than twenty six times. They're in near perfect condition. Yeah, that's really unreasonable. I would disagree with placing limits on ebooks, period, but 26 times? That's just ridiculous. I've never worked in a library, so I don't know this firsthand, but I'm sure there are plenty of books that get checked out more than 26 times and survive far past that point.
