Yeah, that's really unreasonable. I would disagree with placing limits on ebooks, period, but 26 times? That's just ridiculous. I've never worked in a library, so I don't know this firsthand, but I'm sure there are plenty of books that get checked out more than 26 times and survive far past that point.
