I didn't get cast in the play for which I auditioned on Monday. To be fair, there were only two female parts, and one of them was very minor (oh, guess what? It was written by a man, what a fucking surprise). Obviously, about 20 women turned up (and this was just the first audition), compared to about half as many men. So I'm not bitter or anything

I didn't realise creche was an English thing. Frankly, most people over here have no clue what I mean either. Or they say "you mean the nursery?". Of course I do! It's a synonym!

Acting is hard, hard desperate work. I'll leave out the long details of how I came to that conclusion.
You'll probably stumble on a talent at the strangest moment.

I'm not good at anything but remembering facts and obscure details.
However, in a stroke of luck, I am an amazing typist and have great organizational skills.
So glad I took that course Sophomore year-gave me something to fall back on.
