I didn't get cast in the play for which I auditioned on Monday. To be fair, there were only two female parts, and one of them was very minor (oh, guess what? It was written by a man, what a fucking surprise). Obviously, about 20 women turned up (and this was just the first audition), compared to about half as many men.
