I went to see The Seventh Seal earlier. It's really good. Sometimes there's hype for a reason. "Faith is a torment. It is like loving someone who is out there in the darkness but never appears, no matter how loudly you call." How great is that quotation? Seriously? It's probably better in context, but... anyway, the whole thing is wonderful.

Gaspygasp! Such a good line! I'll have to see the movie. At some point. When I'm able to afford a $10 movie ticket. *shakes fist dramatically at the gods of prosperity*

I never pack until the day before I'm supposed to move either. One time, I packed one box, then stayed awake watching The Venture Brothers until 3am, then resumed packing. That was the worst.

I've been pondering making a parent-friendly account as well, once my mother mentioned she was interested in reading my blog. Our conversation.
Me: "Uh. Are you sure you'd want to?"
I'm thinking about how much I write about sex and my embarrassing drinking adventures and gender confusion. All of which she's aware of, but not, you know, graphically.
Her: "Why? What kind of things are you writing about that you wouldn't want me to read? Wait, don't answer that."

It might not be on general release in the US - it was re-released over here because it was cleaned up (you know what I mean... remastered). Might be though. If not, you should rent it. It's one of those incredibly trippy classics which at the same time has a very modern feel to it. It's great. The translation for the subtitles was a bit crap, but that doesn't really matter.

I'm not sure if I'll sleep tonight. I'm not even sure if it's a good idea to try. I probably will, though, as a kind of last-ditch effort to somehow resemble a normal person.

My parents can live without reading a catalogue of my hospitalisations, drunken one night stands, lesbian crushes and porn, I think. Not to mention the frequency with which I rant about my mother on here.

Damn. I also owe every moviestore in town at least $40. Sigh. Time to join Netflix again, I think.

Normality is overrated. Go pack.

My mom surprised me by actually asking to read For Every Closed Door. And I tell her pretty much everything (including my lesbian crushes and stupid drunken adventures), so maybe I'll give her a chance.

Oo! I wanted to tell you that I'm attempting to write my first femslash story. Stacy/Cuddy, having sex in the changing room of a lingerie store.

OH MY GOD, PACKING IS NOT AS SIMPLE AS I REMEMBERED.

The original plan was to leave about four hours ago. Ugh.

Yay! This fandom needs more femslash, I think. Decent, plausible femslash. Or, failing that, hot, cracky femslash.

*waves handkerchief* Packing and eggs are both phenomenally overrated. My junior year, I forgot blankets.

Tin Drum potshots FTW. Although I'm hoping your parents and RL buddies don't get curious about the other people who've friended your uni LJ, then click on mine and fall into the porn pit. Yes, I too am that lame.

Oh, they all need a little more m/m pornography in their lives. Liven those stiffs up a bit.
