Peter crossed the causeway to catch a bus to the airport. He would be back in New York for a few days very soon.

In many ways, yesterday sucked. Bad moods, bad news, and bad ideas (which, okay, was actually a bright spot) all added up to suck.

But after looking at the day on the whole, Peter decided as he sat around in his pink, pink room that it was all totally worth it. He probably wouldn't lose the stupid grin until Friday.
