Those caps are making me think shippy thoughts (especially the Clyde/SJ one and the Rani/SJ one.) Yeah, I'm beginning to ship SJ/Clyde like nothing else from this episode.

I squeed when you found out that Eve and Sam got together and had a kid.

And that old men and space CAN go together (I was also disappointed that Mr. Copper didn't become a companion.) He was great. So excited that just because he was old, didn't mean life was over just yet.

Now I'm feeling extremely worried for Wilf again...

I have to say I've been shipping Clyde/SJ for ages! Since some time in S1, in fact - S2 just made it worse, and this ep - well, I can't help myself!!

It was sweet...

Yes!! I like to think he and Eve and Sam had loads of adventures together before he passed away.

Now I'm feeling extremely worried for Wilf again...

Oi! RTD better NOT kill off Wilf, or I'll go spare!

I didn't start shippign it until this episode. And then it full out screamed it :P I wonder what took me so long to catch onto that one :P

With Ship helping out all on board her, I'm pretty sure he would have gotten quite a lot of adventures in. They could be having adventures 50 years from now, since it seems that both Eve and Ship have the odd power of keeping things alive.

I'll join you in a hunting party to take him down. I do not want anything bad to ever happen to Wilf. He's going to die nicely of old age.

Heh. I noticed that they started teaming Clyde and SJS up quite often in S2, even while Maria was still around, but moreso once she left and Rani came in (leaving Rani and Luke to team up). I loved that whole exchange about his moaning and her age - so much affection there, even though he was being a bit cheeky.

Exactly!!

Sarah Jane and Clyde are indeed awesome when working together.

If she's the Doctor, then he's her companion...

Indeedy he didn't!

Hah!

LOL! (That's the first time I've ever written LOL. You made me do it. I hope you're proud of yourself.)

Okay...

Looking at the photos from next week's episode, I suspect Ten'd take Clyde now, in a heartbeat! :D

There was so much in this ep for anyone disposed to ship SJ/Clyed - not just banter but also little touches and glances. I'm not going there, but it's almost like they were encouraging us to.

Yes there was. I rather like that actually - the suggestion that Sarah Jane's not too old for a young man to be interested in her...

I laughed at Rani's 'Who needs a Sonic Lipstick?' line.
What does she say? "Who looks at a lipstick and says, 'This could be more sonic'?"
Next time trailer! Eeeeeeeeeeee!! Please note, rabid Rosefen, Ten NEVER cried Rose's name so despairingly!
Second time I've seen that observation made.

No, she said exactly what I quoted...

I've made that observation elsewhere...

I've finally caught up with my 4 eps I was behind on and my awww-ness for K9 eclipsed everything else in this rather fab ep. Love your pics. Mr Smith / Tin dog rivalry.

And next week that means we have the unlikely combination of the regular cast, K9, Ten and, er, Nigel Havers. You really, really couldn't make it up. :-D

And I'm still sneakingly fond of 25 minute eps with cliffhangers - reminds me of something. ;-)

Clyde, yes, is awesome. In his relationships with just about everyone.

Hee. Mr Smith being SO deeply unimpressed with K9's return was hilarious! :D

I know! Sheer madness!

Clyde is very awesome! I totally want to see him and Ten travelling in Space and Time together...
