I meant to do a discussion post for The Book of Kells after it came out - and I didn't quite get around to it. Now that Deimos is also out, however, I decided it was time!
So in The Book of Kells, Lucianos is actually Lucie Miller - with a corset, a wig and a habit completing her heavy disguise, and a vocoder to make her sound more male than female.
How big a surprise was that?! I know I nearly fell off my chair in astonishment when I first heard this audio.
And she's travelling with the Meddling Monk - but seems not to know the Doctor? Which is rather confusing - is she pre-Eight? Or is this an Alt!Lucie who never met the Doctor? Or is she suffering from sort of amnesia?
And then, right at the very end of Deimos, as the Doctor's about to blow the bomb that's in the Fission Chamber in the Moon Base on Deimos, he gets a text message - from Lucie Miller, saying that she's stuck in the Moon Base...
So what do we think is going on with Lucie? Is she so mad at the Doctor and what he and 'Aunty Pat' did in 'Death in Blackpool' that she's travelling with the Meddling Monk and intending to try to get revenge on the Doctor? Has the Meddling Monk somehow duped her into helping him??
