I found this one pretty moving.
- It's Bill Nighy FTW! (I so wanted Bill to play Eleven. *sigh* Maybe they'll get him for Twelve?)
- By the way, it's pronounced Van GO! (Well to English speakers, anyway!)
- Amy wants to know why the Doctor's being so nice to her, taking to lots of lovely places, including Arcadia. Um, presumably NOT the same Arcadia that the Doctor witnessed the fall of during the Time War? o_O So the Doctor's still remembering Rory, and Amy's still not...
- The Doctor claims to be from the Ministry of Art - and um - Artyness. LOL
- The Doctor asks Dr Black (Bill Nighy's character) when a particular painting was done - and asks him for a short answer. Cheeky!
- Then he comments on Dr Black's bowtie! :D
- Doctor: Art can wait. This is life and death. [He pushes Amy towards the exit with a hand in the small of her back.]
- Uh-oh! The TARDIS has scared a cat away...
- Van Gogh: Three: Your friend's cute. (Heh another famous artiste has the hots for a companion!)
- Amy says she's going to have a bottle of wine, and share it with whomever she chooses. Go girl!
- Van Gogh: Your hair is orange.
Amy: Yes, so is yours. [Okay....!]
- Yikes! VG's getting stoned - and not in the fun way!
- VG tells the Doctor his paintings are only precious to him, and Amy pipes up to say they're precious to her too.
- The Doctor suggests VG needs less coffee, and suggests he has a Camomile tea to calm down.
- Blimey! The Doctor's just been knocked over by a huge tail on an otherwise invisible beastie.
- The Doctor's in the TARDIS, talking to himself - some things NEVER change!
- Eee! It's Doctors One and Two on the search gadget's screen.
- Amy buys VG sunflowers to thank him for saving her life last night. He finds them complex, and says he's not fond of them because they're half alive, half dead.
- Oh, now I want to give him a hug because he's upset that Amy and the Doctor are going to leave. He says everyone leaves - that must strike a chord with the Doctor.
- VG says he hears 'the song of [Amy's] sadness' and comments on her having lost someone. So he recognises that she's lost Rory, though she doesn't remember him. Interesting...
- Amy: You do have a plan, don't you?
Doctor: No, it's more than a plan. It's a thing of greatness. [Oh dear!]
- The Doctor says he's armed with 'over-confidence', his gadget, and his screwdriver...
- VG: Will you follow him?
Amy: Of course!
VG: I love you.
Amy just grins.
- LOL at the Doctor asking Amy to breathe a little quieter.
- VG (to the Krafayis): Hey, are you looking for me, sonny?
- LOL at VG stomping on the Krayfayis' foot so they can shut the door.
- Doctor: Amy, Rory -
Amy: Who? [Me: Eep!]
- The Doctor says he's only going to use the sonic for screws in future. As if!
- Doctor: I'm really stupid.
Amy: Oh, get a grip! This isn't the time to reevaluate your self-esteem.
- Doctor: Sometimes winning - winning is no fun at all. [After the Krafayis is dead.]
- Oh! I love this scene of Amy, the Doctor and Van Gogh all lying on the grass, looking up the stars, and holding hands.
- VG tells Amy that he'll miss her terribly. [Eep!]
- Amy: Be good to yourself. And be kind to yourself.
- The Doctor's going to show the TARDIS to VG, which is now covered in posters!
- Blimey, what's with the circus poster burning off the shell of the TARDIS - is that the result of the TARDIS going through the Vortex? Weird...
- The Doctor's taking VG to see the exhibition of his works at the Musee D'Orsay.
- Oh! Love the moment when Dr Black realises that was Van Gogh, then decides it couldn't have been.
- Amy tells VG that she's not the marrying kind...
- Amy notes that Time can be rewritten, and thinks there'll be hundreds more of VG's paintings at the exhibition, but it turns out there are no more.
- Aw... The Doctor's resting his forehead against Amy's after giving her a big hug.
- Sweet! 'For Amy' is on the plant pot in which the sunflowers are sitting.
