OMG! SPOILERS AND THEN SOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- What's this voiceover introduction??
- The Doctor: We're not hostile. We're not armed. We're here in peace.
Somehow I doubt that'll cut much mustard!
- Oh look, I was right - they've been knocked out!
- Hee! Malohkeh, the Silurian scientist thinks females are more resistant to the cold 'cos of Amy's skimpy clothing. She retorts "I dressed for Rio!"
- Oh nice one, Amy! She's picked Malokeh's pocket and nabbed a device to unfasten her restraints, and Mo's.
- Rory trusts the Doctor with his life. Good to know he's moved on from his previous distrust. I just hope Eleven doesn't let him down somewhere along the line.
- Alaya wants to know why Tony's not dead yet, despite having her venom in his veins.
- The Doctor's asking for celery after being 'decontaminated'! Fifth Doctor shout out FTW! (Interesting that 'half' of human bacteria help to keep him alive.)
- Amy and Mo are helping themselves to weapons - I hope this isn't going to end badly!
- Yay! Shout out to 'Doctor Who and the Silurians'!
- Alaya is taunting Ambrose and goading her, as if she wants Ambrose to kill her. (She probably does - because she wants a war between humans and Silurians.)
- Tony repeats the Doctor's line about the humans needing to be better than this.
- Doctor: Amy Pond, a girl to rely on.
- Rory: Sort of, a bit, not really. (Cute!)
- The Doctor tells Ambrose to let Rory do the talking - and that's even before he knows Alaya's dead.
- Eldane is being very patronising to Restac, telling her to go and play soldiers.
- The Doctor reckons Amy and Nasreen are the best people to be humanity's ambassadors.
- The Doctor says this isn't a fixed point in time, but a pivotal one - so if humanity and the Silurians can come to an agreement, timelines will change.
- The Doctor says he loves Malohkeh.
- Eldane offers kncwledge and technology to humanity in return for space to live in Earth's uninhabited areas, such as the Australian Outback, the Nevada Plains and the Sahara Desert.
- Mo and Elliot are clearly very unimpressed that Ambrose has killed Alaya.
- Ambrose, on the other hand, reamins defiant, and argues that the Silurians can stay buried. She also tells the Doctor to stay out of the discussion.
- The Doctor asks Eldane to wait 1000 years for the humans to get ready for the Silurians to return. He tells the humans to pass the idea on - via myth, prophecy, religion, etc.
- Eldane starts up toxic defumigation of the city in order to stop the Silurians from attacking the Doctor and co as they're getting ready to leave.
- Oh! Nasreen's staying with Tony - good gods, a CoC who's NOT dead by the end of the episode!
- Amy runs back to grab the Doctor 'cos he's dawdling, and giving Nasreen a big hug.
- Yikes! The Crack is back - and it's bigger than before!
- Doctor, do you REALLY think NOW is the time to be sticking your hand in the Crack to grab some "shrapnel" from the explosion that's caused the crack?!!
- NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rory's been shot by Restac!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
- The Doctor has to bodily haul Amy into the TARDIS, then sonic the lock shut to stop her rushing back out otherwise she'll be erased from history by the light coming from the Crack that's just started to touch Rory.
- The Doctor's begging Amy to tell him about Rory, to remember him, and calls him "fantastic" and "gorgeous".
- He kisses Amy on the forehead again and tells her she can do this.
- Amy: What were you saying? NO! She's forgotten Rory!!
- The engagement ring still exists, though! It's on the floor in front of the Doctor. What does that mean?
- Amy sees her future self again.
- The Doctor unfolds his handkerchief and reveals that the 'shrapnel' is actually a piece of the sign from the TARDIS' door. Oh. My. DOG!!
That was exciting - and sad...
