Big Finish Audio Plays: Exile - Nicholas Briggs Reaction Post

Someone on my FList mentioned the Doctor Who Unbound audio "Deadline" and I remembered that although I bought the whole set of Unbound CDs months ago, I'd only listened to 3 of the 7 so far, so I grabbed "Exile" to listen to. It is so funny I had tears in my eyes from laughing...
This audio asks what if the Second Doctor had escaped the justice of the Time Lords at the end of The War Games?
David Tennant's in this one, playing a really snooty Time Lord who, with a colleague, comes to Earth to search for the regenerated Doctor (played by Arabella Weir - yes, the Doctor is a woman now!) - and the Time Lord in charge of issuing money and clothes for the trip to Earth gives them 70s gear and money. So David's Time Lord is wandering around at his first appearance (in 2000) dressed in a shirt open to the navel and a gold medallion (amongst other things) and wondering why the locals are laughing at him and his colleague (who's similarly attired)!
Later he pretends to be a country yokel and gets rather pissed in the process - and if you thought his Drunk!Doctor in "The Girl in the Fireplace" was funny, well this is even better...
Oh and at one point he's eating burnt baked beans and the spoon gets stuck to his lip...
I warn you, you should NOT eat or drink anything while listening to this audio (and not least because Weir!Doctor gets drunk rather a lot during the audio - and you get all the appropriate sound FX of her throwing up!)
I won't spoil the plot by telling you why the Doctor is now female, but I do highly recommend this audio as possibly one of the funniest things you'll ever hear David do...
It's definitely crack, Nick! (And I've got to wonder just what you'd been smoking/drinking/inhaling before writing it...)
