appleboy scored some tickets, so yesterday stpaulcub25 & I went to a taping of the new upcoming Suze Orman special to be used by PBS for their March pledge drive. I was a lot of fun, I really enjoyed it. When it airs, keep an eye out, you may spot me in the audience. I was in the second row center.

Actually, this is the second time since I joiined LJ. Here is the first. In college, I was in the news a few times for Pride or this or that, and the paper a few times for quotes. I'm not a Warhol Whore, I'm just popular and outspoken at times.

It's been cold. I would like to rub to sticket together and make some sparks to keep warm, but alas I don't have that option at the moment. So Gwen keeps me warm and I make a fire in the fireplace, put on some musicals and sip some wine. But I will be in Boston this week, and I need the vacation.

Sorry you couldn't make it. It was great. I could try to recount some of it, but I would say watch the show on the 22nd (Twin Cities only) and save yourself from my transcription errors.

Yeah, I thought some of the silicon valley folks I work with were a bit immediate gratification in nature, but then I forget how some New Yorkers can be. She talked before the taping about loving to come to Minnesota to do her shows. I think it's because we're too polite to heckle, we applaud a lot, and we think about what she's saying.
