So I followed you over here from lilyjames_fest I’ve not really been game to read a Deathly Hallows Pt 2 review at all really. Yep, I said read. Bravery points for you being able to write one. I guess I just watched the film, sat up for one night without being able to even put words together and then got back into real life and shut out all the emotions. By the time I have my shit together enough to write one no one will care.
Anyway, I thought I’d comment because your first few lines had me cracking up. Most of your thoughts on McG, Neville and Molly resonate with me.
But this line, couldn’t be more agreeable I'm not even going to go into the lack of chemistry between Dan and Bonnie. It's like...me and a brick wall And that probably has more to do with why I ship Harry and Hermione than I would like to admit. That though is essentially a whole other point

Haha, the funny thing is I started out with the intention to write a detailed review, and it turned into a gif spam more than anything else. But I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)
I prefer Harry/Ginny over Harry/Hermione, but I am not big on that ship. Their relationship in the books was definitely portrayed better, but it still didn't really do anything for me. It seemed so out of left field that it didn't seem to really fit right...even though I know that JKR set it up starting in book one with how Ginny ran after the train--apparently a romantic image. Still not big on them.
The Chamber kiss was lame. I know a lot of fans were really anticipating that, and it was just a major letdown. I mean, come on, a pointless ten-second shot of the entire Chamber with them in the center? Why was that even necessary

Eek no. Way too scared to participate in a fest yet. I will read though and watch the proceedings very closely so that I can see how it all runs. Then maybe next time I can join in. I'm just working on being around consistently before I join in with things
