Remembrances of things past
Everything is in motion - the surgery to dissolve the cataracts and replace the lens in my left eye is scheduled for this coming Monday. Apparently it only takes about 15 minute - although now it's referred to as a "procedure" - is that a downgrade? Something to write about
Went for an eye exam last Wednesday - it was past time for a checkup anyway, and I thought my prescription had changed. Everything was kind of fuzzy. I was expecting to come away with new glasses. Long Weekend
Thanksgiving here in the US has basically turned into an annual 4-day weekend. I used to look forward to that, but it seems I've lost the knack for filling that much time off. Ideals & Reality - or My Bucket's Got a Hole in It
It's actually been a good week - all in all. The Texas version of winter has arrived and there is a brisk feeling in the air.
