Went for an eye exam last Wednesday - it was past time for a checkup anyway, and I thought my prescription had changed. Everything was kind of fuzzy. I was expecting to come away with new glasses. Instead, it seems I have some issues around glaucoma - especially in my right eye. Something about the fluid behind the eye lens not draining ( Read more... )

Good luck with your eyes!

I've been doing weekly chiropractor visits for the past month and a half, working out some issues that had been building up. I think a regular massage would be a good thing.

Thanks Scott. Chiropractic, acupuncture, massage - they all produce results and involve the human touch. Whereas any visits to my primary care physician are usually whirlwind affairs where I wait a long time, he pops in and out (I might get 5 minutes of his time), and leave with a prescription in hand, wondering what just happened.

Hope all in well in your world. Is it still winter there?

We had a really weak winter, but spring is bringing lots of snow so far. (As much in the past week as we had all winter!)

And I definitely agree with you about massages ... they're wonderful. Since there's no massage school near me, I'll need to find a trust fund somewhere to become a regular client, but oh how I'd love it!

Thanks Mark. Oh, I've been stopping by daily - just keeping to myself, but glad to hear what's happening.

I'd have to rely on a trust fund as well if it weren't for massage schools - 1-1/2 hours for $40 - where attention is paid and touching is allowed.

I hope you appoinment goes ok and and they can sort it out for you.I guess if you have heard a few Messiah's you would be expecting a lot really Shame it wasn't as good as you thout it might be but at least you got out:).Shame in these times you have to go for a massge to feel the touch of a another human being I so understand this.If I was there I would hugs you to bits hon:)I often wish for human contact but alas it doesn't happen.Thinking of you and hoping all goes well for you,my friend*hugs*
