I really hope everyone on the East coast pulls out okay. Sandy's winds and flooding are sure to wreck havock on people's homes, property, and way of life. I've read that many people are without power, and I'm sure many are stuck at home in the dark, just waiting it out

It's probably just an excuse for tax money in the end. California is the state that used tax payer's money for a guy in prison to have a sex change...so ridiculous is rudiculous I suppose.

I'd be fine with it if the dude was a law-abiding citizen and you know, made a POSITIVE contribution to society but unless the dude is going to kill himself over the fact that he's a dude, don't give him a free sex change. There are law-abiding transexuals who would have probably appreciated the money more.

Total bullshit. It isn't a 'right', but a 'choice' for a sex change.
