It occurred to me tonight in the bath that this is such a unique time in my life. In all of our lives.
Never again will we have these last few weeks as a family of three. Rosie alone. Baby tucked deep inside of me, as safe and warm as she could possibly be in this life.

Update.
So it's been a very long time since I've bothered to update this beast.
Rosie is getting big. She weighs about 19 pounds and is around 28 inches tall. She has two bottom teeth, and we are painfully working on her two top teeth. I predict they will finally break through by Easter. At least I hope so, because she is miserable.

I was going to do it: Circumcision.
I can now honestly say that I am really glad that Rosie was a girl and not a boy.
Want to know why? If she had been a boy, we would have circumcised her. Working with little kids, I saw a lot of little penises. Every single one was circumcised, except for one little boy from India. Tyler is circumcised too. I just assumed everyone in America ( Read more... ) -

Issues from this morning are somewhat resolved, as I didn't speak to Tyler for an hour after he got home and he got the message. He did two loads of laundry (though they are not put away or anything), took out the trash, and then played with the baby while I cleaned the bathroom.
