I find it strange that people I am/was friends with are getting married or engaged. I feel like I'm a pretty open minded person, especially after living in a different country, but on this point I just can't understand. So I'm down to my last 10 days or so until I go to Turkey for the summer. Doing some crazy Cairo sight-seeing. Went to Coptic Cairo and the mosque of Ibn Toulon yesterday, and today I"m doing the Citadel (which I'm crazy excited for becuase Salah al-Din is my favorite historical figure right now). So I went to Subway today for lunch. Behind the counter were three workers, two teenage guys and another guy who looked and sounded Mexican. The Mexican worker was the first "Sandwhich artist" while the other two guys were running the register and putting on the "fixings". So I'm sitting at work and decided to update this thing. College is going well, I love New York City. Even though its literally 15 degrees out. Last weekend we had a blizzard which was amazing. I have my first lacrosse game on March 4th at Princeton, so that should be exciting. Guess who's the starting goalie!! I have my first midterm in econ on ( Read more... )
