I'm not so sure that i like cold nights.  It's fine when you are going to sleep and you stay in the only warm patch in your bed.  But I hate waking up because as I turn around in my bed I move into a cold patch.

Needless to say we've had another spout of cold weather, it's been good cold weather, one day of rain and now two or three of sunshine.  ( Read more... )

This is just a quick post in my last few mins at work.  I wanted to say that it may be snowing soon.  It's slowly moving up over the country from the south.  I hope everything is covered tomorrow.  It will mean a cold night, but it's worth it.

I'm sitting in work, not feeling the best.  I didn't eat breakfast and when i was brushing my teeth i thought i woud vomit.  Nothing is working.  The sun in shining in the window.

I'll start with the good:
I did four hand-rolls in the pool last night.  I've never done one before.  They are quite difficult, it's really hard to get the momentum with just your hands, although i really can't complain, since my hands were getting me mostly up, I just need to connect that with an almighty hip-flick.  I was proud of my achievements ( Read more... )

It's very hard trying to get work done at the moment.  As I've said previously the weather has been fabulous.  Yesterday the temperature here got as high as 31oC in the afternoon.  The evening stayed very hot and my bedroom remained at about 28oC.  This morning the sky was cloudy and the temperature dropped to 24o, which is still very warm for here ( Read more... )

So the sun has been shining since Thursday.  It's been wonderful.  Of course, I've gotten no work done since then.

I applied for my Driver Theory Test, finally.  My test is on the 1st of August.  Now i have to get my hands on a book and learn off all the answers to all the questions.

I was walking over the bridge on my way up to college after my swim this morning.  I always look at the water.  I saw a duck with her little baby duck in the river.  It was really cute, the flow was quite strong and the little duck kept getting washed down stream.  In order to protect it, the mother was swimming upstream of the little duck.  I ( Read more... )
