I think the nicknames are some of the most immature things I've ever heard come out of teenagers' mouths.

NOW SEE. I AM THERE AGE. I SPEND TIME WITH LARGE GROUPS OF THEM VIRTUALLY EVERY DAY. It's kind of like hell, only at a decent temperature.

When I say their insults are immature, I don't mean crude or classless, I mean immature as in children would come up with those nicknames. Which is, by the way, a dozen times more entertaining and less insulting than obnoxious sex jokes. |D

YES, IT TOTALLY IS. I felt like my massive ~artiste-ego was put into HUGE perspective when I entered an American highschool. Holy crap guys, so not cool in SO many ways.

Ah, I understand completely. That fits much better in my head! I agree, sex jokes outside of flirting/twisty-entendre contexts are just really TACKY if not outright mean.
