Great news with today's PET scan!

PET scan: liver glow GONE. Spleen glow GONE. Central glow deep in the abdomen (this is the one that really worried the doctor last time) GONE. Neck glow GONE. Slight glimmer on back of head remains, but no bigger than last time. New slight glimmer at tip of stomach: may be simply inflammation. Blood work looks perfect.

I am so SO happy for you! You've continued to be on my mind and in my prayers. Love the picture montage. I also love that the Mayo clinic has a chocolate kiosk. *g*

Rob has always hated it. "Sun in the eyes. Wind. Bugs." And he just out-stubborns me. You'd think we'd do it 50% of the time, but no. He has always simply refused.

But now he has a true medical reason. The medication he's on makes him sun-sensitive and he's SUPPOSED to stay out of the sun. As far as Rob is concerned, this is great because it means avoiding the constant arguments that he always won anyway.

I still resent it. But now I can't even hope I'll ever win an argument someday. He now holds the permanent trump card.

I LOVE eating outside when the weather allows (which in Minnesota isn't a very long season anyway). Knowing this, Fiona takes pity on me, and we try to eat outside when we go out to a restaurant together once a week.
