New CaringBridge post: The doctor saw Rob's scans last Thursday and decided he should start chemo immediately. So as of this morning, Rob is in the hospital until Wednesday night/Thursday morning

Well, we were simply grateful that they got him in so quickly, and really, we've worked with them for months, and this was really the first minor snafu.
Yes, we are getting meals from Open Arms again. Thank goodness.
Oh damn, damn, damn. A friend here in England whose husband has a very similar cancer is going through far too much like what you're dealing with. He had only recently returned to full-time work and his hair was grown back when it was determined that the cancer was back. He's getting chemo and is having his bone marrow harvested. I am thinking so much of all of you.
And the last thing you need is medical staff not notifying you in a timely way re. appointments. *sigh*
