Some friends from my old work are on it so... I now have a Facebook account. No, it's not in my real name. After a quick search I managed to find a heap of old high school buddies on there as well. Small world.

A week ago we had the announcement that Ford would be closing it's Geelong engine assembly plant. Reading this morning about the Haneef case, something just doesn't seem right. It is just so easy to interpret the events as the government canceling the guy's visa in order to keep him in detention indefinitely. A few weeks ago I kicked myself into going to Aikido training again after a break of a few months. It's a bit of a pain for me to get there but I managed it for a few weeks.
