In his continuing bid to win over Victorian teachers, John Brumby has announced that 10 new schools will be built in partnership with private companies. These public-private partnerships will help the government save public money and ensure that they can build the best schools possible. -

Back in Melbourne
Got back into Melbourne this morning after staying up late for an early morning flight out of Darwin. Didn't get up to too much in Darwin yesterday. In the evening I went to the Mendil Beach Sunset Market which was pretty good. I have quite a few photos from my trip but here is one that the aussies will find funny. NT adventures
I'm back in Alice Springs for a day. Yesterday I visited King's Canyon which was great fun, the best thing that I'd done so far on my holiday. The day before I climbed Uluru. Amazingly there is mobile reception on the top of Uluru, who would have thought. Tomorrow I head out for Tennent Creek and then up to Katherine.
