Things are getting better with each passing day. Still working hard on getting what I now dubbed my "raider status". I've been assigned a desk in a way that sounded like it would be my own for the following months, the reason why I'm doubtful is because it's considered a prime location. New job and all, different internet use policies, ect. That and the fact that I don't have a work computer assigned to me yet (not to mention no domain access because my file is in HR limbo) means I have pretty much zero computer time during the day for outside communications ( Read more... )

I just HAD to become sick as a dog yesterday. Aches, pain, fever, you name it. Barely got any sleep. Feeling better since I'm on Tylenols and all but there is some lingering crap going on in the background. Since I started taking care of myself I've noticed that I rarely get sick anymore. Figurines, personal trinkets, all of it is in the car. Computer is as clean as I can manage and all my personal hardware has been removed from it.

I'm just killing time until I really have to go but then again I guess I could just say goodbye right now.

Because a [somewhat sudden] new job is not enough for me, I've also decided to move earlier than planned. In fact, I'm moving out this weekend. Before last day of work. Laptop is here and on the network, absorbing the most important contents of my computer. Slow as hell for some reason. Anyway it should be done by this afternoon. Then I'll start cleaning the stuff I would hate to see people find by accident :)
