Went on a shoot last Thursday at the Cabaret Juste pour Rire as an assistant to Nancy Desrosier where I got to play with her 200mm f2.8. Talk about glass! The thing is horribly heavy which is exactly how I like it. I was already itching to get myself a new wide angle but should I do more concert shoots (one day?) I will definitely need to get

If you find a used 5D, serial number 2621200591, it was really well taken care of before it got stolen from my apartment. :)

That's one fine zoom lens, though. What did you think of it?

Sad to know that no one turned up with some info, but at least you can say you gave it a good shot.

Yeah, that lens was definitely some of the finest glass I've ever had the pleasure of putting on any of my cameras. I don't feel it's overpriced at all in fact, knowing that it was in the low 1k+$ range made me feel a bit surprised. The tripod adapter I could do without though but it's definitely a necessity since it's way heavier than the body + flash itself.

I have a great example that I'll post soon (or send to you) if you wish.
