It's really difficult to believe that you're having 80o weather and using the AC while we're tangling with all this snow, cold and ice. The weather patterns in the US are amazing sometimes. The worse thing about it all, is the having to keep shoveling out. Our city has a very strict law that sidewalks MUST be clear by 24 hours after it has stopped snowing. When it snows as frequently as it has been doing and as much, this is backbreaking labor. :( Admittedly, it looks beautiful. We just hope it's not going to keep on going like this. And we haven't even hit December 21, the theoretical beginning of winter yet!

Sometimes Christmas sneaks up on us here because the weather is relatively mild and snow-free, but not this year! We have to admit, though, that snow, etc., is preferable in December than the warm, humid weather that you seem to be having down there in the Carolinas. Is anyone having nice weather right now, we wonder? The Southern Hemisphere, we suppose.

Yes. actually, our weather in Tucson is very nice: mild during the day and crisp but not too cold at night. No snow, thank goodness!

Yes, you would have nice weather at this time of year--it's what attracts all the so-called 'snowbirds' that you get down there, after all. What temperatures fit your definition of 'crisp' in your area? Fifties? Sixties? We suppose that it gets really cold out in the deserts near you at night. At least, that's what we've always heard. And surely it would be a dry cold! :)
