This could be my last post!
I have to do the wedding video for my GF's sister, if it is not done to her exacting standards my life will not be long for this world. It will be a slow and painful death, I just hope that something solemn and sad is played as the wheel me out. Today while I was driving past Oranmore on the coast road to Galway when I saw a young couple walking along the footpath arms draped around each other a very intimate scene, except both were talking on mobile phones!
Such a shame I forgot my camera as my phones zoom is not good enough to get that shot, damnit Janet -

I was reading Margo's blog and was saddened at the hate that she faces over religion or lack thereof. Why do people try to force their belief systems or prejudices on others. Late night musings
After working last 2 nights and day off tomorrow, YAY me, hopefully I have finished with Dublin Airport for another year and can roam pastures greener again. I have nothing against Dublin but get weary of the rudeness in the hotels, shops and the restaurants, cities tend to have a faster heartbeat and people living/working in them get sucked into ( Read more... ) -
Tired beyond Belief
Why is it when you exhausted and have to sleep you cant, I had to drive to Dublin (3hrs) yesterday evening to be at airport this morning for training, I stayed awake last night so I would sleep today, After the training back to get some sleep in the hotel( I didn't) then they made sure that I didn't sleep cause they phoned me at 4 then back to bed ( Read more... ) -
Sneaky
A friend said that she would like to learn the Irish Language, I admitted that I needed to learn as I was very rusty. A lot of people in Ireland are, but when they go abroad to impress foreigners they pretend to be fluent. Carlsberg exploited this cleverly for an add on TV, the clip has the subtitles of what he is actually saying.

the little annoyances of life
Just a little thing that I find amusing and irritating at the same time. The hotel I am staying in has a womens keep fit class in the evening and most of the women going to it park their cars outside the door in no-parking areas, just to be as near to the door as possible. There is a huge well lit carpark in the hotel and its in a safe area of town ( Read more... )
