Social media
I'm rubbish with social media. I don't hate it (or love it) I'm just not very good at it. What is good? That, of course is the question. I don't have a problem understanding it - I'm on Facebook, Twitter, Linked-in, Plaxo and of course here in LJ. That's not the problem. Winter
It snowed again last night, 5 cm of fresh snow. Normally I'd be ecstatic with 5cm of snow - especially in the Hague where it doesn't snow a lot. This year it took me a while to even notice :)
I'm still happy about it though. Ah... winter!!!

Embarrassed
I threw up in the gym today. If I had a list of most embarrassing things to do, I think that would come quite close to topping it.
Still don't know 100% what happened there (or better put: what the cause was) I felt fine going to the gym and I feel fine now. But after the workout I felt worse and worse - not nauseous at all just really really awful ( Read more... ) -
Fell off my bike this morning
I love snow and freezing temperatures. But I just decided that don't like it when it thaws and then freezes again.
Perhaps I should have cycled slower or perhaps I should have concentrated better but in the end it would probably not have made a difference. After I'd got up I couldn't find the patch of ice that had caused my fall - not that I spent a ( Read more... ) -
Password hell
Argh! Again I've run into a subsite at work for which my credentials are insufficient. Ridiculous!!
Single sign-on is not exactly something new in the world of computing. But it seems quite difficult for a corporation to get all their subsystems synched, with as a result another request for authorisation and yet another entry in my already fat ( Read more... ) -

Back from Germany
I've kind of sent myself to Germany on my client's behalf this week to help a supplier with a problem that my client is having with their software.
Trust between these two parties is an issue and so my client was skeptical, being of the opinion that we (I didn't go on my own) wouldn't achieve anything.

Terrible phone call
We had two cats. I say "had" because today I received a terrible phone call: Felix, our black cat got run over (what on earth were you doing on a highway,little dude??)
I can't quite describe how I feel - I don't really know how I feel. I guess I'm not quite ready to believe it yet...
