November is Native American month

Apparently, November is Native American month (possibly with the words "Heritage" or "Culture" or "History" thrown in there, I didn't bother checking.) This strikes me as kind of a fucked up thing to do - just another continuation of the tradition of giving the Native Americans the shaft ( Read more... )

Personally I think their dance was accentuated by the large plastic snowman in the background. (Actually, he apears to be part of the band!)

Their culture will be preserved by all those casinos. Don'tcha' think?

I was really struggling for something, and I'm sure there's a lot of people who like Valentine's day.

Anyway, I'd imagine that Native Americans would prefer Valentine's day to Thanksgiving...

I wonder if I'd rather have syphillis or smallpox. Especially back then.

On the one hand, smallpox will kill you.

On the other hand, they used to think that you could cure syphillis by burning or mangling your penis in a variety of ways.
