Another early start

Tobin woke me up around 5am. I tried to go back to sleep but just couldn't. So I got up around 6am and put the desktop pc back together and now I'm on line. Church job this morning. Then putting stuff away. I should probably do my taxes at some point, as well. Ugh

Wow. It looks really nice. 35 year old carpet? I complain about my carpet and it's only about 10 years old.

I know! It amazes me how long I've lived with it - 10 years. Before that, no one lived in the house for about 10 years. Before that, 2 different renters lived in the house off and on for 10 years, including the guy who put in the used carpet.

He's still getting used to how I've moved some of the furniture around. I didn't put everything back in the same place. It takes him awhile to adjust to new changes. I'm slowly putting things away but I have most of my kitchen back. It was where I stashed a lot of the boxed up stuff.

Me too! Thankfully my dad noticed the guy who was laying it down didn't have the line centered with the door at first. He adjusted it, and voila! It wouldn't have looked so nice if it wasn't centered.

The new one looks very nice. Love your futon! Your curtains are very pretty too.

Wow, the carpet we got rid of just turned 10! My friend's mum took it for her garage, lol.

I think it's the norm for people to replace carpet after 10 years. Although the carpet in my folks house is going on 35. It must be a thing in my family, lol. ;)
