"It was a Monday, a day like any other day..."

I'm sorry this is a few days late. It was a busy weekend. And this week's will probably take just as long to post, unless I decide to post it without writing down the quotes. We'll see how I'm feeling after Thursday. Anyway, last week's episode was another awesome one, this season has definitely gotten off to a good start!

Good God Ya'll )

Nicely done, Charissa! What an excellent episode...Kripke & Company continue to break my heart. Bastards.

So awesome to see Ellen & Jo & Rufus again!!! Also? NONE OF THEM DIED!!!!!

Is it possible that God is taking a Sabbatical to find him/herself? Maybe to regain his/her own faith?

I loved seeing Rufus out in the field this time! And I too was VERY excited none of them died! I didn't think they would kill Jo or Ellen, but I was a little concerned about Rufus.

I kinda think God is still very much in the know of everything that's going on, otherwise he wouldn't have saved Sam and Dean and resurrected Castiel. But as for where he is now and why he's not in heaven, I have no idea. But I do think he's keeping tabs on everything to make sure it doesn't get too much out of control.

not just because every time they’re separated one of them (usually Dean) finds himself tied up

And this is wrong why?

All kidding aside, it was a great episode. I loved seeing Ellen, Jo and even Rufus again, but I wanted so much more of them. We're talking multiple episode arcs, here, Kripke. (Although, I suppose we should be grateful, given that Sera wrote the episode, that none of them died.)

Kripke usually doesn't take the easy way out, preferring to explore the mess that is life and the relationships that give it meaning. While I personally believe God did intervene on behalf of Castiel, Sam and Dean, I'm hesitant to put all my belief eggs in that basket. (Whoa, failed metaphor alert!) Just to be cautious, I keep reminding myself that God's intervention is Castiel's belief, not necessarily what Kripke has in mind. It could be something else. My imagination fails at what else, exactly, but it's possible. Anyway, God's having left the building does give several options for Kripke and Company to explore, as I believe it was bardicvoice... )

Hey Charissa! I'm way behind on LJ but wanted to say nice post!

I really like the season so far and I'm glad Show is not taking the easy way out with things like Bobby and the relationship between Sam & Dean. For a show about the supernatural there's a lot of realism in the relationships.
