I'm sorry this is a few days late. It was a busy weekend. And this week's will probably take just as long to post, unless I decide to post it without writing down the quotes. We'll see how I'm feeling after Thursday. Anyway, last week's episode was another awesome one, this season has definitely gotten off to a good start!

Good God Ya'll )
And this is wrong why?
All kidding aside, it was a great episode. I loved seeing Ellen, Jo and even Rufus again, but I wanted so much more of them. We're talking multiple episode arcs, here, Kripke. (Although, I suppose we should be grateful, given that Sera wrote the episode, that none of them died.)
Kripke usually doesn't take the easy way out, preferring to explore the mess that is life and the relationships that give it meaning. While I personally believe God did intervene on behalf of Castiel, Sam and Dean, I'm hesitant to put all my belief eggs in that basket. (Whoa, failed metaphor alert!) Just to be cautious, I keep reminding myself that God's intervention is Castiel's belief, not necessarily what Kripke has in mind. It could be something else. My imagination fails at what else, exactly, but it's possible. Anyway, God's having left the building does give several options for Kripke and Company to explore, as I believe it was bardicvoice pointed out in her review.
I'm kind of anxious to see Sam and Dean do a little soul-searching apart from each other. Then when they come back, we get to see them adjust to the men they've become, and fight against falling back into old patterns. But Dean offering Sam the Impala made me cry.
