New Years Eve!
Today, I decided to do a few things to celebrate New Years Eve. First, I decided to do a little shopping using one of my gift cards from my folks. ( Details behind cut! ) -

Finished opening presents with my family at my brother's home. Dinner is being prepared. I'll post more later.

Just got up from a weird dream. At the start, I was helping do a short video for popular video creator Freddie Wong and his partner Brandon. When I mentioned I had done some YouTube videos, they encouraged me to do more. I protested because mine weren't anywhere near the scope or as popular as theirs, but they said that didn't matter.

Sort of going to Further Confusion 2012!
I've decided that, in a few minutes, I'm going to swing by where Further Confusion is being held. However, I don't think I'll actually be getting a con badge (so, won't be able to go into official convention areas), but I'm really just going to see if I can see any folks I know there. I'm not sure I will be attending (see prior post), but I would like to be able to see some folks. I thought about maybe joining folks for a meal. Unfortunately, the selection of restaurants is very limited near the convention center. I'm not sure how folks are set for transportation, as there are more restaurants closer to where I live. Any -
A quick couple of things....
First, yesterday, I felt like a really smart shopper when I managed to save over 53% on groceries. A "buy one, get two free" special on hot dogs helped with that.
Second, I now am on Puzzle Pirates. Anyone else out there play? -
My thoughts on the DC Comics Reboot...
Why?
Okay, I know the reasons DC Comics is giving. Readership has been in decline, and they feel that by "refreshing" the characters, they can bring in new followers. It sounds reasonable...but...
