[Nena isn't the only one ransacking the tree. Slugger is circling it on his skates, tugging down the strings of lights from its branches then smashing the bulbs with his bat.]

[ Nena looks upwards and sees Slugger wielding his bat and smashing it into the lights. Nena cheers wildly and loudly as Slugger continues to crush the lights.

But something about him looks familiar. Way familiar. Nena's gaze eventually turns into one that's intensely perplex. ]

[Hardly looking up at her, he just keeps pulling down more lights and smashing them.]

[It's pretty impressive that her clothes would flicker from time to time into nonexistence. Yes, the right thing to do would be to tell Nena what was going on.

She didn't seem all that bothered and Sage was standing there, enjoying the view. He hated how the town for some reason feels that it's necessary to power this giant tree over the rest of the town. Oh, how tempted he was to help ruin this tree. ... But other priorities happened to kick in at the moment.]

[ Nena doesn't notice as her clothes flash off for a brief period of time. The periods of times slowly begin to extend. As she is blissfully unaware, she begins to kick the ornaments down right in Sage's direction. ]

[It takes a few moments for Sage to process that indeed, an ornament was flying down right at him. He yelps and tries to dodge, but is hit square in the forehead.]

AH! Son of a bi... ah!

[It shatters, but fortunately, none of the pieces scattered into his eyes. That doesn't mean it didn't hurt, though.]

[ She hears the yelling but keeps herself focused on tearing down ornament after ornament. ]
