On Saturday, while working at the Humane Society, I found out about these little guys, orphaned European starlings, and I decided to take them in. They're a non-native species, and so the wildlife rehabilitation won't take them. Here are Sentinel and Shockwave:

Well some offered up some helpful advice on yesterdays little thread about Lucy's dipped wing.

I have phoned the vets and he has said that unless she stops using that wing I shouldn't put her through the stress ofa car journey. Fair enough!

She has let me handle her and I have managed to get her to extend the wing for me, but she hates me handling ( Read more... )
