[oh this is just a little laughing at your expense.]

Haha, great! I figured it was just a matter of time, but that was less of a wait than I'd expected.

Not a bad underscore, either. It looks like those outposts didn't fare so well...

[ Halo thar, vampire troll, long time no see! Joshua's totally flying over, since at least at the moment, he has nowhere better to go. He doesn't plan on sticking around, since once everybody realizes what actually happened, they'd no doubt look for him at all of his previous habitats.

Doesn't mean he can't (literally) drop by to say hi, though! ...And maybe for supplies. So he's going to be looking to land near the door, when he sees Zelman...conveniently on the roof.

Guessing at what he's there for, Joshua glances over his shoulder in the direction of the smoke before landing on the roof nearby. He won't say anything yet, though, waiting for Zelman to close that journal first.

...Unless he wants to be a double douche and give away Joshua's location. B( ]

[he could. but that would be giving people he doesn't like something for free, and that just sounds like a boring plan with poor pay-off.

so he'll shut his journal. start talking. B)]

[ With a little smile at that, he'll move closer. Wings are still there, for a quick get-away. Gotta be prepaaaared. Speaking of! ]

They're going to think I had a hand in it. I may need some supplies. You're feeling generous, right?

I SUPPOSE I CAN DO THAT, GOSH exanimatus November 21 2011, 06:43:36 UTC
[he's just standing around like usual, one hand tucked in his pocket and the other making sure the journal doesn't sneak open like it enjoys doing.]

Am I? I have to wonder... [and smirking. always smirking.] I would get very little out of it, whereas the alternative could get me a lot.

How did you get out?

I wonder if they honestly believed their little pig pen would actually work?

Surely they realized at some point it would fail...?

I don't think many people will be surprised. At least, not with the comfort of hindsight.

Funny how it happened, though. It's really only one escape.

And for those without proper hindsight...?

Said escapee must either have had help, or had an ace or two up their sleeve.

Either way, it's seems a bit convenient it happened at the same time as the outposts fires - as if that wasn't obvious.
