[In the lobby this morning there are long tables set up, sort of in the style of build-a-teddy-bear. Except what needs to be constructed aren't bears... There are big shapeless man-size dolls, along with stuffing and various decorations to give the 'doll' a personal twist. On the first table there are the empty cloth men, on the next are various

[Bucky was wandering through the lobby, looking at everything, and then sees the kid and hears his comment. Huh.]

I don't know, I can think of a few people I would want to burn to death. [And not just hypothetically either.]

[The small boy turns and levels an unamused look at Bucky.]

I have heard many reasons to kill someone, but none of them make sense to me at all.

I'm a soldier, it's my job to kill people. Though usually most people don't deserve it.

The ones I'm thinking of, though... [They were total bastards.]

[So, Bucky's hanging out in the lobby, contemplating those dolls. He is incredibly tempted to make a Zola doll, or a Red Skull doll. Incredibly. In fact, he might just go do it.]

Isn't it just a waste of effort if you're going to burn it anyway?

It would make me feel better, anyway. [And that enough is worth the effort.]

[Crowley pauses in his daily Saunter of the lobby to peer at this]

Well, bugger me. I never thought I'd see this here.

It's definitely...something. So long as we aren't all burned or something.

Do lighten up, I thought you liked Bonfire Night.

[Aziraphale is enthusiastically engaged with stuffing one of the men with straw, humming a little tune as he does so. Clearly someone is excited about Bonfire Night.]

[Hermione notices] You look like you're enjoying yourself, Aziraphale.

I most certainly am, Miss Granger. Aren't you looking forward to it?

I am. I haven't celebrated in a long time, but it's nice to be reminded of home.

[Kanji isn't building dolls to be burned, but he has appropriated quite a bit of the materials and is making dolls of a different sort with an expression of deep relief and contentment.

Currently he's carefully attaching cotton balls to the outside of a sheep-shaped length of cloth that he's sewn together. A nearly life-sized sheep-shaped length of cloth.

And he's been at it for a while, considering that there's a very elaborate and intricate little lamb doll already finished beside him.]

[Durge wander over and picks up Kanji's sheep doll. Outwardly he shows no expression, but he does handle the doll rather gently for such a burly looking man]

Are you not supposed to be making men?

[He watches closely until he's sure the doll is in good hands and then turns back to his sewing with a small smile.]

Why'd I wanna make stuff just to burn it? These'll last and make somebody happy.

[Quietly still inspecting the little sheep as he speaks]

I know not, only that the instructions over there seem to ask us to do so.
