[In the lobby this morning there are long tables set up, sort of in the style of build-a-teddy-bear. Except what needs to be constructed aren't bears... There are big shapeless man-size dolls, along with stuffing and various decorations to give the 'doll' a personal twist. On the first table there are the empty cloth men, on the next are various

[Oh, Coraline would happily burn one of those dolls. But making them? No way. She has a bad history with dolls. Especially the ones that like to spy on your life while you're sleeping.

She's staying about as far away from the table with the buttons on it as possible, but still lingering around to watch everyone else build]

No, not at all. I'd be horrible at making something like that, for one. For two, dolls scare me.

[He just looks at the tables and their contents thoughtfully.]

It doesn't seem all that difficult. But if you have a fear of dolls, then life-sized ones definitely aren't for you.

[He crouches down so he's more at her level.]

But I don't blame you. I'm even a bit creeped out by these dolls.

You should have seen what they did to Guy. Poor bloke, no wonder he offed himself.

Suicide? Wasn't he killed for his treason? At least that is what that note seems to indicate.

He was supposed to be hung, drawn and quartered, but he threw himself off the gallows when he was being hung. Broke his neck, to avoid the drawn and quarter parts.

[Someone's getting ready to go out the door and go teach today when she notices a large group huddled around the tables in the lobby. What's going on, guys? Besides burning guys.]

I knew it was only a matter of moments before the castle threw something morbid at us; can't have one nice celebration here without it, apparently.

.....? [ Duke's confused as to what exactly he's feeling these tables. He's currently... well, playing with the cotton balls, but since he can't read the sign, he has no clue. And he's doing a very bad job of not being rather visibly blind. ]
