[There's no telling what will get you wetter the 1,000-gallon wooden bucket that empties every ten minutes or the 500 feet of twisting open flumes and closed tubes gushing with swirling water.
It's a maze of soakin' good fun with a surprise centerpiece a huge tree house with more than 50 water play toys like jets, levers, and rope pulls, plus twisting slides. Enjoy the mini wave pool, plus bubbly springs and jumping jets for spraying and playing.]
[a sideways glance at York before looking back at the girls]
[voice soft] She is... they both are. [were they really going to have to watch them go?]
[as they watch, a particularly strong wave bowls through the girls. Annie, timing off, ends up getting knocked off her feet. There's a bit of flailing and a warning silence for about two seconds]...uh oh.
[sure enough, offended wail suddenly splits the air, the little girl sitting on the concrete floor, face scrunched and almost pink enough to match her suit]
[Laura looks startled but keeps her balance, although she starts getting sympathetic upset vibes from Annie. So York quickly walks over and scoops her up.] You okay? Annie, you okay too?
[Jilly's right next to him, gathering the crying child into her arms. Immediately, the wailing stops as she curls against her mother, burying her face against Jilly's shoulder as the hiccups start] Hush now. You're okay.
[one hand lightly runs down the girl's leg until she finds the issue... one tiny little scrape. It didn't even break the skin] Look at you... you were just surprised, huh? [bouncing her lightly as she rubs her back]
[A smile as she glances over at York and Laura] You okay?
That sounds good. [running a hand through Annie's wet curls] What do you think? You want some juice?
[still clutching Jilly's t-shirt, the little girl will raise watery eyes to look between her mom and York, before giving a little, sniffle-accented nod]
[Annie is in a pink swimsuit that Jilly found in town (thankfully without a hammer on the front), and is more than thrilled with all the fun things to play with. She's currently fascinated by the jumping jets, sitting down next to one of them and putting a hand over it to try and "catch" the spray as it erupts and giggling when this causes the water to shoot in all directions, dousing herself and anyone nearby.
Jilly is standing a foot away in a dark t-shirt and shorts, letting her play but keeping a careful eye on her. The girl is more curious than a cat, and quick to boot. The artist girl's hair is already soaked (Annie wanted to be carried under the bucket as it dumped), and she throws up a hand to ward off the spray as it comes in her direction]
[she, however, is already laughing at herself. She'll take that towel and dry her face, though there's not a lot she can do about the rest of her. She'll just get wet again in a minute, anyway] Thanks.
[passing it back to him, she'll do a double take at the baby. So... adorable...] You too? [a smile down at him. God, those eyes...] What's his name?
[shifts Brody in his arms so that he's a bit closer to Jilly.] Yeah, me too. Apparently the castle thought me and Harmony needed a parenting crash course.

[it's only been a few days... but she really can't picture Annie being gone at the end of the week.]

Looks like you could use this.
[oh, and there is an adorable baby in his arms that shares his daddy's bright blue eyes.]

[stepping closer to Lindsey, she'll reach out and brush the little boy's palm, smiling as his fist closes around her finger]... He's beautiful.

Yeah, he is. I couldn't have gotten any luckier I think.
[looks past her at the little girl] So how is your little one?
