[There's no telling what will get you wetter the 1,000-gallon wooden bucket that empties every ten minutes or the 500 feet of twisting open flumes and closed tubes gushing with swirling water.

It's a maze of soakin' good fun with a surprise centerpiece a huge tree house with more than 50 water play toys like jets, levers, and rope pulls, plus twisting slides. Enjoy the mini wave pool, plus bubbly springs and jumping jets for spraying and playing.]

I don't mind them remembering, but I think I'd have less of a stressful time if it was just babysitting.

[shrugs, moving Molly a bit on her hip] You know, just babysitting or visiting with their cool aunt.

Yeah, but if we were just babysitting, she wouldn't hug me and call me "Daddy".

[Which is definitely his favorite part of the whole experience.]

That's true. [but she also knows that the calling him Daddy is possibly also why it is so difficult when they leave]

[But isn't it better to have loved and lost...?]

Besides, if it was babysitting, I'd want to get paid. And it would have to be with something more useful than money, too. It's not like we have to pay rent or bills here.

[He watches his little girl run through the jets.]

I'll take what I can get.

[smiles at the little girl's level of energy]

I'm glad that you can. [smiles at York and shifts a fussy Molly] I should probably try and see if she wants something to eat. I'll see you later, though, right?

[encryptedlock]

[He nods.]

You too. [smiles and then heads off to take care of Molly]

[ooh! Friend! Whether she remembers Laura from the snow day or not, Annie's toddling in the older girl's direction as Jilly stands back, watching her to make sure she doesn't take hold of anything breakable...which is a slightly more difficult task when your child has super-strength]

[Laura is currently in the mini wave pool, giggling every single time a wave hits her. York's watching casually.]

You'd think she'd get tired of it after a while.

[Annie's too young to get as far as Laura... the waves knock her down before she can make it in much deeper than her ankles... but she doesn't seem to mind. With that high-pitched squeal that only small children can achieve, she kicks her feet and slaps her hands flatly against the water as it ebbs and flows around her]

I don't think you get tired of things until you're older. Only kids get that nifty ability to be completely in awe of anything and everything.

Yeah, but is it more patience or less attention span?

[Laura notices Annie and goes over to her, showing her how to make a BIG splash when the wave is coming.]

[laughs] A little of both, I think.

[*____* Imitating the older girl, Annie does as she's told, and the two of them manage to make a rather impressive explosion of water, the sound of little girl laughter ringing out]

[He gets a faraway look in his eyes as he watches them.]

Wonder where they go the rest of the year. I hope it's someplace good.
