[There's no telling what will get you wetter the 1,000-gallon wooden bucket that empties every ten minutes or the 500 feet of twisting open flumes and closed tubes gushing with swirling water.
It's a maze of soakin' good fun with a surprise centerpiece a huge tree house with more than 50 water play toys like jets, levers, and rope pulls, plus twisting slides. Enjoy the mini wave pool, plus bubbly springs and jumping jets for spraying and playing.]
[she doesn't bother to reclaim her hand, though she wiggles her other fingers a bit to make the boy laugh again]
[following Lindsey's gaze to Annie, she'll smile, still looking a bit bewildered] She's... amazing. I mean, I know she's from the castle... [like daddy], but... she's mine, too.
[running her free hand through her hair with a small laugh]...thanks.
It's okay, though. [she's making him sleep on the couch, so that problem was solved, at least] I'm still grateful for Annie.
[hearing her name, the little girl pauses, looking up from the jets to see a strange man standing next to her mama. There's a minute where she gives him a rather wary look - you're not her daddy. But when Mama gives her a smile, she'll push her way to her feet (butt in the air first, followed by unsteady steps) and run over to grab onto Jilly's leg, still watching Lindsey]
She is. [pulling her finger out of Brody's fist, she'll laugh, reaching down to pick the girl up and balance her on one hip] Though I didn't think she had a shy bone in her body. What's up, Annie me love?
[a head tilt in Lindsey's direction] You want to say hi to Lindsey? He's a friend.
[the little girl ponders him with big blue eyes for another moment] Hi.
[and then, without warning, she's leaning forward and practically falling out of her mother's arms, as she tries to get a glimpse at Brody. She almost looks surprised when she catches sight of him] Baby! Mama, baby!
[she'll step closer so Annie's not leaning so precariously. As Annie reaches out one hand to touch the little boy, Jilly catches her hand, tone firm] You've got to be gentle, okay? He's little. You don't want to hurt him.
kay
What're you going to be?
Gen'il
[and she is, mostly, one damp finger reaching out to touch his hand, before shooting a look up at Lindsey with her mother's bright eyes. This okay?]
[Lindsey nods, smiling as he watched the two of them. Brody watched Annie's finger carefully, then tries to grab it. Of course he's just a baby and doesn't have nearly as strong of a grip as Annie does, but he laughs anyway]
[having approval, she'll grin down at the baby in earnest, shaking her hand to see if he holds on]
[Jilly can't help but laugh, watching the two of them] Yeah... shy isn't quite the right word.
[a head tilt, looking back up at Lindsey. There's a bit of a start as she realizes just how close they actually are, but it's keeping Annie safely in her arms and it's not hurting anything so... she stays put] Are you enjoying being a dad, then?
Yeah... I never- I never was going to do this [an awkward pause. Family is a difficult subject. But the kids offer an easy enough distraction. Annie squeals as Brody grabs her nose, giggling madly]
[as Lindsey reaches for Brody, Jilly reaches to catch Annie's hand, the adults' hands crossing in the process. It wouldn't do to have her forget and use her super strength on the baby] Not so loud, Annie. Remember, he's little.

[shifts Brody a bit so Annie can see him better]
Say hi to Annie, Brody.
[Brody looks at Annie and rests his head on Lindsey's shoulder, curious]

Yeah. I mean, I helped raise some of my younger siblings. But there's just something about when you look into his eyes and see yours staring back...

No! Mine! [shaking her head]

No, Brody, no hitting on girls until you're at least eight.
