[A-E] The ABCs of Eunhyuk and Chaerin

Chaerin lay face-down on the bed, scrolling through her phone to see the latest news articles about 2NE1 as per her morning routine. A particular article caught her eye. She giggled quietly.

The blankets next to her stirred. A pair of lips landed on her naked shoulder and gentle fingers began tracing the contours of her back. She felt a shiver run down her spine. “What are you looking at?” Eunhyuk murmured, voice still husky.
“Nothing, go back to sleep,” Chaerin replied, placing her phone on the bedside table.

“I want to call you Baby,” Eunhyuk declared over smoothies one day.
Chaerin stopped sipping from her cup for a moment and furrowed her eyebrows. “Baby? Why Baby? And in English, no less?”
“All rappers call their significant others ‘shawty’ or ‘baby’ or ‘mama’,” Eunhyuk replied, feeling proud of himself. “I like Baby.”
Chaerin blinked. Just who was teaching him English nowadays? “Okay. Then you can be my boo,” she said, shrugging and getting up to throw away her smoothie.
Eunhyuk smiled, pleased at his small victory over the English language. Then his smile froze. “Wait. What’s ‘boo’?”
CL
“Why do you by CL on stage?” Eunhyuk asked idly, tracing his fingers along her spine. Her back was one of his favorite features. “Chaerin’s a pretty name.”
Chaerin sighed and hesitated briefly before answering. “It’s not like how Eunhyuk on stage and Lee Hyukjae in person are the same.” Eunhyuk furrowed his eyebrows as she continued. “I’m always running on two polar opposites. Being very cold and hot at the same time, or being an angel and then a devil. CL on stage and Chaerin in person are so different, but they’re both me.” *
Eunhyuk blinked in confusion, fingers pausing at her shoulder blade. “So then who am I with now?”
She laughed, “Chaerin. Always. CL exists on stage and in public. Between you and me, there’s only Chaerin.” His hand moved to cup her face and she leaned in to his warm touch.
“Well then,” Eunhyuk murmured, his hand now moving down her arm. He loved the feel of her skin. “I know Chaerin loves me. Does CL approve?”
“You’re so silly,” said Chaerin languidly. She caught his hand with hers, twining her fingers through his. “Both of them are madly in love with you.”

It takes all of Eunhyuk’s energy to deny that he’s seeing someone every time he is asked. He wants to shout out to the world, “Yes! I’m currently dating the most beautiful girl in the world and I don’t care who knows!”
But every time: “Is someone special on your mind right now?”

Energy
After six hours of practice the night before and only an hour’s nap, Chaerin’s energy had gone down significantly. She worried as to how she would appear on their comeback stage with her fatigue weighing down her every step.
She unexpectedly felt the tell-tale vibration of her cellphone indicating a text message arrived. Curious, she fished it out of her pocket and opened the message.
