Resurrection of an old Meme
I was listening to the selection of music on the cd player in the car on my drive (1.5 hours from $HOMETOWN to $WORKTOWN) and thought that the mix was quite eclectic. Woohoo! Job found... But Help needed!
... Well - for four weeks anyways!
It's a good wage, it's 40 hours per week, it's for four weeks, it starts tomorrow...

Can anyone help out with board in TGA for 4 nights per week? Willing to pay any reasonable board for M, Tu, W, Th nights.

ongoing job issues and blessings
Well - It appears that DW, myself and the boys have some really rocking friends! We've had one friend turn up with a banana box of fresh fruit and vege... twice since the job fiasco. At the business end of a recession one finds oneself suddenly unemployed.
With the fact that I did not receive my salary for the last 3 weeks of work - nor have I been paid in lieu of notice.
*sigh* I despise job-hunting :(

Owie Revisited
Good news - It's not a break. Diagnosis - severe sprain. No extra x-ray needed. I can walk around without the moonboot on for short periods (about 20 mins or so). Will keep the moon boot on for another week and use the crutches for a few more days - then physio.

Well - yesterday was eventful. Fell down the front steps. Turned my ankle at the bottom and heard a crack as I went down, followed immediately by pain, lots and lost of pain.

One word review: Hillarious!
Both dw and I had a blast. Two hours of stand-up and I never heard him utter an "um" in the entire time. I admit some of the anti-religious jokes weren't my taste but that's par for the course - there was plenty of other material in the show that made up for it.
