Well - It appears that DW, myself and the boys have some really rocking friends! We've had one friend turn up with a banana box of fresh fruit and vege... twice since the job fiasco. Danke! As you know I don't like to ask for help. I suspect that may be a reson why this is happening. Someone is telling me to get off my high horse and accept that I'm not alone hmmm?

Odd that I still feel I have to do it all myself - I am more than happy to help others but find it uncomfortable to accept help for myself.

methinks that I need to rethink my attitude.

Thank you. Our elderly neighbours who donated the frozen food said almost exactly the same thing - and added "We've all been there. We know what it's like to lose income when you have young ones to support."

Also that same neighbour said "We like our neighbour - you aren't allowed to move away!" said with a big grin.

You never know the effect your behaviour has on people around you - until you do - then it's a very well aimed clue-by-four to the eyes!
