It appears that I tend to be hard on bikes. I had been noticing my bike not working right lately and I thought that the bearing on the crank was failing. When I removed the crank, both bearings fell out in pieces and the drive section appeared very worn. Last evening, I proposed to my girlfriend. It went very well. Not quite according to plan, but she said yes. The proposal was based on a Carol Burnett Show sketch, which fit me very well. The merger proposal was in a binder and everything. Every one present was extremely happy, her family included.

Since my last post, we got our steam plant project moving forward and held the public forums for it only to have it pulled by the president of the University. It led to a very interesting week with a lot of discussions and phone calls with one of the Board of Trustees.
