How could I forget the peppermint oatmeal? However, on a related note, I was at a friend's house a month ago and opened a small bottle of Diet Coke. I said, "hmm, it's a little flat." and then looked at the expiration date. It was about 6 months prior. I started laughing, and the friends thought I was nuts. My friend's husband told her it was expired and she yelled at me to throw it out and get a new one. I just said, "nah, really it's okay." and then explained the wonders of saving food FOREVER!!! I did get a new soda, but everyone was just in awe. Alcoholic salsa though, wow, I wonder if there is a market for that? Hey, are those ricemilk boxes with the Cat in the Hat still in the tea/sugar cabinet to the left of the sink? I think we were running about a year expired last time I was home...

No, they moved to the refrigerator. Perhaps dad thought that refrigerating the rice milk would make it taste better. I am sure it will make the Dec 05 expiration so much less relevant.

I wonder if Gateway could try selling the salsa to the Eastern students.
