I almost lost my best friend, and love partner to diabetic keto acidosis. It was scary. The ER sent him right up to the ICU....and while I did everything I could to appear calm inside I was so afraid of actually losing him.

I have been working so much that I don’t even know what being home for a full day feels like anymore. I thought that working these shifts would lighten up eventually but here I am eight months later working 80-90 hours a week.
