A friend of ours has a house in Maine and she gave us the keys for Easter weekend. It was a nice trip! Okay, it was actually kind of a comedy of errors, where the car broke down twice, our "easy" 1.4 mile hike ended up a 3 hour sludge through mud, rivers, snow and ice, and we discovered James is screamingly scared of riding the car at night. At least it was a comedy of errors and not a horrific tragedy. It brought me back to our first nighttime road trip, where I ended up in the back seat with a nipple in Wren's mouth to get her to chill out and fall asleep. Yes, she was strapped in. I was the one out of my seat belt and leaning over her.

He really is too cute.

Heh. I've heard of moms doing that. We just pulled over when it was determined he was just too upset to take the bottle.
